With the economy as low as it is the custom bike industry has really taken a bight out of all of us.  Once having several builders and individuals on the hook at all times and a steady flow of work has long become a memory for now.  I still get a few and I am seeing more helmets now but it hasn’t begun to get as rabid as it was a few years ago. I mean large companies closing like 5150 and Deanos who we all looked up to really makes you think.  I do however feel that 2012 is the year for the artist, and if you can stick it out you can easily become the next big custom shop and have all the kids look up to you now.
